Sand Bars as a guiding idea

The guiding idea in my architecture project. 

The intention of the guiding idea is to communicate in a conceptual way how to approach a project. The first thing we must do is choose an object or a concept that we want to express. For example, in my architecture project  we chose "sand bars" as a guiding idea.

Afterwards we drew a sketch of the sand bar, preferably freehand, considering how it looks in reality without losing our concept which in this case is “Barra Vieja”. It is located on the coast of Acapulco where this hotel project will be carried out.  

The next step is to make volumes with the initial shape, it is necessary to geometrize it to have a good development of the guiding idea and follow a process in a sequence.   

Finally, we will have as a result our volume that we use to make the shape of the building. It is important to consider that others outside our project understand the development of our guiding idea to make it understandable and attractive.
